On the day, all Carties must be on-site by 12:00 for final inspection, presentation and judging, and ready-to-roll by 12:45

Entry Forms should be submitted as soon as possible, as spaces are limited and allocated on a "first come - first served basis". Download a form from the Entry page selected on the left

All carties must be inspected prior to race-day. Scrutineering will take place on Sunday 31st August at 12:00 am at the Car Park, Mineralwell Park, Stonehaven. Full details of Scrutineering are available from the Scrutineering page selected on the left

Rules are similar to last year, with both Junior and Senior classes.
Like last year, there will be 3 starting lines and a short and long course. The Junior race will be judged for entrants starting at Line 3 and taking the short course. The Senior race will be judged for entrants taking the Long Course, starting at any of the Lines 1,2,3
Entries may be upgraded from Junior to Senior, or vice-versa, as a result of scrutineering, the drivers' age and ability, or any other reason at the Organisers' discretion.

• Cartie should have a wide wheelbase for extra
    stability, within the limits as stated in the Rules
• Likewise a low Centre of Gravity is a good idea.
• Here Oor Wullie shows you how NOT to do it.
• Contact the Committee at the earliest
   opportunity to discuss your proposed design, or
   get advice - it would be disappointing for you to
   build a Cartie that doesn't pass Scrutineering.

• Get your entry (with fee) in on time
• Attend the Scrutineering
• Complete all paperwork on-time
…no waiver/consent form - no race !!!!
• Build your cartie in accordance with the rules
• Follow all rules and instructions on the day
